The first qualifying session of the year held more than one surprise. In the end though, Lewis Hamilton claimed pole position while neither of the Renault R28s made the top ten.

A very competitive session this morning and the results are pretty unusual - nobody can predict which teams will be in the top ten qualifying shootout.
